We may record calls for quality, training and auditing purposes, and to help resolve complaints.  We keep all recordings for 12 months.

We occasionally carry out live monitoring of calls, where we listen to calls in real time. This is also done for quality, training and auditing purposes, and to help resolve complaints.

We may contact you for customer satisfaction purposes and ask for your feedback if you have contacted Customer Services about a department we take calls for.  Customers are selected at random and the survey is sent out via email or text with a link to the online survey.  If you do not wish to receive a customer satisfaction survey from us, you can opt out by emailing us at CheshireEastCouncilCustomerServices@cheshireeast.gov.uk , supplying your full name and address. We will action your request within 10 working days.

0300 telephone numbers are designated for use only by public bodies and non-profit organisations. Calls to 0300 numbers cost no more than a national rate call to an 01 or 02 number and count towards any inclusive minutes in the same way as 01 and 02 calls. These rules apply to calls from any type of phone including mobile, BT, other fixed line or payphone.

Our phones are typically open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. Individual services publish their opening hours on their web pages.
