After hours reading group

Come along to our new monthly reading group that meets on Wednesdays after the library has closed. Next meeting will be on Wednesday 1 February at 6.30 - 7.30pm. The chosen book for discussion at this meeting is The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner. Group members also share the other books they've been reading. Free.   • Creative HeARTs Club - 2.00 - 3.30pm - alternate Mondays. Bring along your own project our join in with one of the activities we provide. £1.00; no need to book. Refreshments available.   • IT Buddy - 1.30 - 4.30pm - weekly. Contact the library to book a free 1-hour session with our IT Buddy
  • Mini Makers - 4.00 - 5.00pm. Weekly, during term time only. Fun and creative STEM activities for children aged 7 - 11 years. Free, but please book as places are limited
  • Monday Funday: stories and songs - 10.00 - 10.30am - weekly. Stories, rhymes and activities for pre-school children and their grown-ups. Great for active toddlers – sitting is optional! Free; no need to book in advance


  • Creative Writers Group - 5.30 - 6.45pm - monthly, on the second Tuesday of each month. Use our monthly themes to inspire you, or bring along whatever you are working on. Members share their work with the group and receive encouragement and advice. New members always welcome. £1.00. Refreshments provided
  • Learn My Way - 2.00 - 4.00pm - fortnightly. Work your way through short online courses at your own pace with help from library staff.
