Springboard work hub
Springboard work hubs aim to help people access opportunities and achieve their goals. If you need help with your CV, job searches and more, we will be hosting pop-up work hubs on the following dates:
- Wednesday 15 February at 9.30 - 11.00am by appointment only and 11.00 - 12.00 noon for drop-in sessions
- Wednesday 15 March at 9.30 - 11.00am by appointment only and 11.00 - 12.00 noon for drop-in sessions

Computer lessons for beginners
Need help setting up an email account or getting online? We can offer you free 1:1 tuition for one hour. Just ask a member of staff for more details.
Online family history
If you'd like to find out how you can trace your family tree online, book an online family research lesson with our friendly volunteer who will show you how to use Ancestry, Find My Past and other online resources. Contact the library for details.
Defibrillator
There is an emergency defibrillator available, externally, on the side of the building to the right of the library front door.

Monday
- LEGO Club - 3.30 - 4.30pm - weekly. Show off your creativity at our after school club. Ideal for children aged 5 and over. Duplo is provided for younger children. Free; no need to book unless it is a school holiday
- Stories and Songs - 11.00 - 11.30am - weekly. Stories, rhymes and activities for pre-school children and their grown-ups. Great for active toddlers – sitting is optional! Free; no need to book in advance
Tuesday
- Memories, Whatsits and Thingamajigs - 11.00am - 12.00noon - weekly. Join us in our local studies library where we will have a selection of photographs, town maps and other objects designed to evoke memories. We will also have tea, coffee and biscuits so we can have a good old natter about how things have changed – for the better or for the worse. Free; no need to book
Wednesday
- Baby Bounce - 2.30 - 3.00pm - weekly. Suitable for babies 12 months and younger, so join us to sing some rhymes and meet other parents. Free; no need to book in advance
- Book Lovers Group - 2.00 - 3.00pm - monthly, on the first Wednesday of each month. We will have a different theme each month and you can contact the library for more details about upcoming themes. Free; no need to let us know in advance you will attending
- IT and Chat - 2.00 - 3.00pm - monthly, on the last Wednesday of the month. If you need help with getting online or using our online resources, drop in for advice
Thursday

Book Chat Social - 5.45 - 6.45pm - monthly, on the first Thursday of the month. There is no set text, no specific genre, just an opportunity to come and talk about the books you have been enjoying and possibly be inspired to try something new. Tea, coffee and a biscuit or two will be available. Free; no need to book
- Rhymetime - 11.00 - 11.30am - weekly. Rhymes for pre-school children and their grown-ups. Free; no need to book in advance

Thursday Night Lego - 5.00 - 6.30pm - weekly. Get creative with Lego and Duplo. No need to book. Children must be accompanied by an adult
Friday
- Adult Colouring - 9.00 - 11.00am - weekly. A relaxing morning of colouring. Come and join as for as long as you want. Free; drop-in. Refreshments available for 50p, or you are welcome to bring your tea or coffee
- Crafty-Space - 9.00am - 5.00pm - weekly. Do you need time away from the house? Would you like some company while you craft? Would you like to sit quietly in a corner and forget the outside world exists? Our meeting room is open for crafters, so bring pop in with your project. Free; drop-in. Refreshments available for 50p, or you are welcome to bring your tea or coffee
- Wilmslow Wordsmiths - First Friday of the month: 10:30-11:45: write poetry, short stories or scripts in an informal setting. Free
Saturday
- Crafty-Space - 9.00am - 1.00pm - weekly. Do you need time away from the house? Would you like some company while you craft? Councillor surgeries
On the last Thursday of each month, between 6.00 and 7.00pm, there is a drop-in surgery with local Councillors.
Tiny Talk baby signing
Wednesdays at 1.15 - 2.15pm. Learn to sign with your baby and help them communicate before they can speak. For more information contact Bethany Nuttall or on 07764 762 189.
