Monks Coppenhall Children's Centre
At the Centre we are always looking for feedback on the services
we provide to you, and what you would like to happen in the future
regarding groups and activities.
We would like to take the opportunity to ask you to take 10

Activities at Monks Coppenhall Children's Centre
This month we are seeing the start of three new services:
- Family Matters - will be holding a drop in session on a
Wednesday afternoon, this service offers free advice and
information for separating families, at this most stressful
- Kickstart – this team will give you help and advice on giving
up smoking, either for the first time or for those who would like
to try again, to make an appointment ring 0800 085 8818
- Adult Learning – an accredited course to support your child in
education, this is a 12 week course for adults with a free Crèche
if needed, places will be limited so please book at reception.

About Monks Coppenhall Children's Centre
The Centre offers a wide range of groups, services and a nursery
to help you with the joyful and sometimes really hard job of
bringing up your under 5 year old children. The Safehands Nursery
joined us on the 6th June 2011 and is based within the
centre, see Safehands Nursery opening hours.
Our friendly staff are here to help you. When you arrive, you
will be greeted warmly at reception and given a lock to secure your
pram in the buggy shelter. If you are new to the centre you will be
asked to complete a registration form and then introduced to the
Our groups are held in the family room, which also has a decked
outdoor play area. A healthy snack is provided for the children
about half way through the group. Toilets and nappy changing
facilities are available in the room. Most importantly all of our
groups are fun and friendly and are here to help you and your
children to enjoy your time together.
Also available is a purpose built Sensory Room and it s the
ideal place to meet a few friends to relax and enjoy your young
children together. Babies, toddlers and parents enjoy the calming
atmosphere and room can be booked free of charge for up to an hour.

Do you have any Suggestions for our Children's Centre?
Here at Monks Coppenhall Children's Centre we welcome your ideas
and input to keep the groups and activities fresh and interesting
for all who attend.
We would also like your comments and ideas how to maintain or
improve the services we provide. We hold a Parent & Carers
Meeting every two months and would like the regular users of our
centre to attend so we can hear you suggestions and feedback. The
date of the next meeting will be advertised here soon.
