We want to make active travel a natural choice for more of our residents; so, it’s important that we plan the transport network to enable safe, comfortable and efficient active journeys.
Since our Cycling Strategy was adopted in 2017, Government policy has evolved to consider all modes of active travel and so now is the time develop a new Active Travel Strategy.
To help deliver on our ambition within the Active Travel Strategy, we are developing a suite of Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs)
We would welcome your feedback, which will help shape the Active Travel Strategy and the LCWIPs for the borough.
