traCE – track, report, alert Cheshire East

You can use traCE to report a problem at a location within Cheshire East.

Our system will tell you whether it’s on land we own or maintain and what we're doing about it.

The types of issues you can report include: faulty streetlights, potholes, litter, fly-tipping, blocked drains or gullies.

How to use traCE

You simply:

  • pick the type of problem from a list
  • pin where it is on a map

We’ll then ask some more questions about the issue, and you will have the option of signing up for progress reports.

If the issue has been reported before, you’ll be able to see what we’re doing about it.

If you know the reference number of an issue that has been reported before, you can search by reference number too.

You can subscribe to receive information about new reports in an area.

When to use other systems

We hope to expand the range of issues you can report via traCE. Until then see our webpages on:

About traCE

We developed this system to get better information to the right teams, first time.

You can report more categories of issues in traCE than you could in the system we were using before.  Because we have developed this system ourselves, we will be able to expand the variety of issues you can report in future.

We are keen to hear what you think of our traCE system.
