Battling the Birch Two

Help the rangers to protect the endangered lowland heath of Lindow Common SSSI by removing the young birch trees and to make birch bundles for use on other sites as riverbank protection.

Drop in any time between 10am and 3pm to watch as ash logs are turned on a traditional lathe into chair legs and see demonstrations of green woodworking skills.
