Children's nurses, also known as paediatric nurses, work with children of all ages with many different conditions. They play a key role in assessing the nursing needs of children, taking into account their medical, social, cultural and family circumstances.
Nurses can work as part of a school team, including in special schools, or in clinics or hospitals or in the community.
