How to apply for a school place

Applications for September 2026 can be made from 1 September 2025.

If you already have a parent portal account (this is separate from a Cheshire East account), you can log in and start the new application. 

If you do not yet have a parent portal account, you can create one on the parent portal.

If you do not have access to the internet, or need support to apply online, you can call us on 0300 123 5012.

Voluntary (church) aided schools may also need you to send information direct to the school.

Do not give misleading or incorrect information on your application - we may withdraw an offer of a place if you do.

Primary (reception): 15 January 2026

Secondary (year 7): 31 October 2025
