APPLICATION FOR A FULL VARIATION: LICENSING ACT 2003

Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has applied in respect of the Imperial Hotel, 183 Edleston Road, Crewe, Cheshire, CW2 7HR for a variation to the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to allow for :

  • This is an application to extend live & recorded music hours in line with the permitted hours for the sale of alcohol.
  • Live Music: Friday & Saturday from 10:00 to 02:00 (currently permitted from 10:00 to 01:00)  and Sunday from 12:00 to 01:00 (currently permitted from 12:00 to 00:00) in line with the sale of alcohol hours;
  • Recorded Music: Friday & Saturday from 10:00 to 02:00 (currently permitted from 10:00 to 01:00) and Sunday from 12:00 to 01:00 (currently permitted from 12:00 to 00:00)  in line with the sale of alcohol hours .
  • This application also seeks to remove/amend the following conditions:
  • Remove condition 3 Annex 2 that reads "The beer garden shall be closed to patrons by 21:00 or at dusk, whichever is earliest". In support of this removal, we propose to add the following condition"The outside area is to be regularly monitored by member of staff, when occupied, during the hours the area is open to the public";
  • Amend condition 9 Annex 2 to read "All children must vacate the premises by 21:00, unless they are finishing a table meal or attending a pre-booked private function when  they will be allowed on the premises until the meal or function has finished".

The application has been discussed and agreed with the Local Authority.
