Local Development Scheme
The Local Development Scheme 2024-2028 (PDF, 1.4MB) sets out a programme and timetable for the preparation of local plan documents up to 2028. Progress will be reviewed annually as part of the Authority Monitoring Report. The LDS will be updated in the light of this review and at such other times when circumstances require a change to the timetable for the preparation of documents. The current scheme was approved on 11 March 2024 but, due to the ongoing uncertainty about the implementation of national planning reforms, may need to be reviewed again later in 2024.
