Cheshire East People Panel

Cheshire East Residents and Council working together to co-design Adult Social Care services. Cheshire East Adult Social Care Service want to ensure that people with lived experience are at the centre of changing services and systems, to improve the lives of our community. We want to work TOGETHER with people to improve the Cheshire East offer. Our goal is to co-develop and co-produce our social care support, so it is meaningful to those we are supporting.

What is a People Panel?

A People Panel is a group of residents who are central to discussions and other opportunities to express their views on Council Adult Social Care services including Care at Home (home care), Accommodation with Care (Care Homes), Extra Care Housing and other services. It is a good opportunity to influence how services are delivered, highlight issues, and help shape services in your community.

What will I have to do as a panel member

You will be invited to participate in discussion groups so that we can speak to you in depth to get your views, opinions and experiences of Adult Social Care services. You may also be asked to take part in occasional polls and surveys – we will make sure that you are not inundated with questionnaires.

How to take part

To take part you just need to be willing to share your views and opinions and listen to those of other people. You don't need to have special skills or knowledge, as our aim is to ensure all participants have an equal voice. We are looking for Cheshire East residents aged 18 years and over to join. If you are interested in becoming a member:

  • Spread the word about this important conversation! Share this with friends, family and neighbours in Cheshire East so they can take part too.
