Jubilee Pavilion

The Pavilion was designed and built in 1887 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria and acted as a social focus within the park.

The Pavilion offers a light refreshment and informal dining service whilst providing some of the best views over the Jubilee Gardens.

'Stock at The Pavilion' is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee and slice of homemade cake in the day or a glass of wine or continental beer in the evening. Offering a wide range of informal meals, which are all freshly prepared on the premises using locally sourced ingredients, the menu consists of traditional English and Mediterranean favourites with a modern twist.

Stock at The Pavilion is known as being the perfect venue for birthdays, christenings and celebrations as well as its hugely popular theme nights.

Friends of Congleton Park have teamed up with Congleton in Bloom and Plastic Free Congleton for the first town Clean Up Day of 2020. The event is taking place on Saturday 7th March 10am – 12pm, meet at The Pavilion in Congleton Park.

They will be organising teams of litter pickers with a particular focus on the various entrances to the park and surrounding streets including those close to the River Dane, especially looking out for discarded plastic items. Every crisp packet, chocolate wrapper, cigarette filter and plastic bottle picked up is plastic that is prevented from entering our waterways and into the ocean.

Also at the same time, the first of five trees will be replacing those already cut down due to storm damage or disease. All equipment will be provided and we would be delighted to have your company.

You can confirm your attendance with the Friends of Congleton Park, Congleton in Bloom and Plastic Free Congleton, by contacting Glen Williams, Chairman, Friends of Congleton Park by email or just turn up on the day.
