Car parks in Prestbury
Important update about Shirley’s Car Park
There there is no longer a ticket machine on Shirley’s Car Park, Prestbury. This was removed on 25 July 2025 due to vandalism. This is now a RingGo-only car park.
We’re aware that signage has been vandalised. We’re working to replace signs as soon as possible.
Parking charges still apply –use the RingGo app to pay.
- As from Monday 26 May 2025 all car park charges officially apply from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday.
- The ticket machine on Springfields Car Park accepts payment by cash, credit/debit card chip and pin and contactless.
- On Springfields car park during school term times (Monday to Friday) the charging period does not commence until 9am.
- charges apply on all Bank Holidays except Christmas Day
- One car park in each town operates free parking after 3pm, in Prestbury this is Springfields car park.
- Blue Badge holders are entitled to park free of charge and without time restrictions providing a valid blue badge is displayed in the prescribed manner.
