Contract parking (car park season tickets)
Parking Saver – Your permit to easy, cheaper parking
Parking Saver is a flexible, discount permit scheme designed for anyone who parks regularly in our car parks across Cheshire East.
Our quarterly or annual permits allow unlimited parking on participating Cheshire East Council car parks from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week.
For people who park daily, the savings can be significant – in some cases up to £800 per year compared with paying each day.
Key benefits of Parking Saver
Instead of buying a ticket every time you park, Parking Saver lets you purchase a quarterly or annual permit. This means:
- A single upfront cost
- No monthly direct debit
- No need to buy a ticket each day
- Big savings for regular users
- Digital permits – nothing to display in your vehicle
Four permit types to suit different needs
Parking Saver offers four tariff levels. Each permit can be used on any participating car park within the tariff band purchased:
Low Tariff Permit
- Quarterly: £170
- Annual: £504
- Valid only on low tariff car parks
Medium Tariff Permit
- Quarterly: £215
- Annual: £670
- Valid on medium and low tariff car parks
High Tariff Permit
- Quarterly: £250
- Annual: £800
- Valid on high, medium and low tariff car parks
Railway Tariff Permit
- Quarterly: £350
- Annual: £1,150
- Valid on all tariff levels, including railway car parks
Who can benefit
Residents and Commuters
If you park in Cheshire East most days, Parking Saver can significantly reduce your costs.
Our existing resident's car park permits – available to selected eligible addresses without off-street parking – are unaffected, and these permit-holders will continue to park as they usually do.
Businesses
Businesses can purchase permits that are not tied to a specific vehicle, making them ideal for:
- Staff
- Visitors or customers
- Employee benefits packages
How the permits work
- Valid for 12 months or 3 months from the date of purchase
- Digital permits linked to a vehicle registration (unless bought by a business)
- Checked electronically by enforcement officers
- Do not guarantee or reserve a parking space
- For private cars and vans under 3.5T
