Food waste caddy deliveries

From late autumn 2026, we will introduce weekly food waste collections.

To support this, outdoor food waste caddies will be delivered between 6 July and October 2026. Deliveries will be carried out in phases across the borough.

If you live in shared accommodation or a block of three or more flats you will likely receive a 140-litre wheelie bin to be shared between residents, rather than a caddy. These will be delivered in October.

If you live in a more remote or rural area or a new build, your caddy may be delivered at a different time to those listed below.

You may receive your caddy several weeks before your food waste collections start.
