Recycling tips and support
- Recycled items are easier to sort if they are left loose. We won't collect recycled materials inside other items such as plastic bags, boxes or tubs. Read more in our 'Leave it Loose' recycling leaflet (PDF, 4MB).
- As well as your recycle bins, you can take items for recycling to our household waste and recycling centres or other recycling bank sites.
- 'Clear on Plastics' - the role you can play in reducing, re-using and recycling plastic.
Freecycle
‘One man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure’. With many residents choosing to upcycle and get involved in re-using, re-purposing and various crafts, you might find a home for unwanted goods through https://www.freecycle.org
