Schools in our area now manage their own catering. To find out what’s on the menu or ask about dietary needs, contact your child’s school directly.
All meals follow the national School Food Standards.

Free school meals

Free school meals for infants

All children in reception, Year 1 and Year 2 get free school meals. Just contact the school.

Free school meals if you are on a low income

Your child may be eligible for free school meals if you receive certain benefits. Check if you are eligible on the free school meals page or call 0300 123 5012.

Paying for school meals

Some schools are now allowing parents and carers to pay for school meals electronically.
