The Regulation 14 consultation began on the 16 February 2026, and will close on the 7 April 2026. Submit representations via the Brereton Parish Council website.

Original 2016

Information

The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with Styal Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was consulted on between the 26 February 2013 and 9 April 2013, the area was designated on the 13 June 2013.

Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 10 April 2015 and the 22 May 2015. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 10 August 2015 and the 21 September 2015. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 21 October 2015 and the 1 December 2015.

Incorporating the examiner's recommendations from their report, local referendum on the Plan took place on the 10 March 2016, and returned a 'yes' vote in favour of the plan. The Plan was made on the 29 March 2016.
