The Graduated Approach

The Graduated Approach to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is the process schools and settings use to identify, support, monitor and review provision for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). It is set out in the SEND Code of Practice and follows a continuous cycle of Assess, Plan, Do, Review (APDR). The following documents share what this should look like for children and young people in Cheshire East.
