Walk with words: a Tegg's Nose stroll with writer Jo Bell

Description

A walk with readings from poet and author Jo Bell, highlighting the pleasures of this place, its history and the Peak District landscape.

A leisurely ramble around the main paths of Tegg's Nose Country Park, with regular stops to hear writing based on this place and others like it. Soak up the scenery and let the words help you to enjoy its history, geology and landscape.

Come ready to explore, chat, and enjoy the outdoors with fellow word lovers. Bring a favourite book or poem to share if you like.

Part of Love Parks Week. Suitable for ages 12+, though adults will enjoy it most. This is a slow, conversational walk but there will be some slopes - wear sensible shoes!

Start from the Tegg's Nose car park at 10.00. You can buy a ticket in advance or pay on the day (cash or card). Cost £5.
