Growing Pains: a summer poetry workshop at Tegg's Nose
Sunday, 21 June 2026.

Description
Jo Bell leads a summertime session bringing themes of heat, vigour and light to your poetry writing.
Long days, sheeny grass, and growth everywhere. Jo Bell is the best-selling author of 52: Write a Poem a Week and How to be a Poet. Her lively exercises will get you writing into expansion, excitement and warmth, drawing from nature and your daily life. Stretch your style, try new forms, and explore how poems can hold tenderness and colour.
Jo’s coaching pushes you past familiar habits, and finds fresh ways to shape your lines. Weather allowing, we’ll have some outdoor time and you’ll leave with new drafts and practical tools for continuing your work.
Booking and payment in advance is essential. Cost £35.
