Helping you find alternative accommodation

Private rented accommodation

Private rented accommodation is one of the main options available to both prevent and relieve homelessness. It can provide more choice for individuals and households to stay in certain locations and it can usually be quicker to secure than other forms of accommodation.

Full details regarding all matters relating to renting privately can be found on our tenants guide.

Social rented accommodation

Cheshire East does not have any council housing of its own and does not operate its own council housing waiting list.

We are partnered with:

  • The Guinness Partnership
  • Plus Dane Group
  • Peaks and Plains Housing Trust

Our partners advertise affordable rented properties (referred to as 'social housing') via a website called Cheshire Homechoice.
