Open Space Disposal - Whalley Hayes Car Park, 52 Whalley Hayes, Macclsfield SK10 1BS

Details of the proposal to dispose of the public open space land at Whalley Hayes Car Park, Macclesfield, SK10 1BS.

It is proposed that Cheshire East Borough Council (“the Council”) dispose of land forming part of the public car park and to grant rights over the land at Whalley Hayes Car park which is public open space. The extent of the car park is shown on Plan 1 edged red.

The Council is the freehold owner of the Land.

It is proposed 4.31 square metres of the property (shown on Plan 2 by the area edged blue)  known as Whalley Hayes Car park will be disposed of by way of a fifteen (15) year lease to allow the siting of an electric vehicle feeder pillar (shown by the  green box infilled with the green hatched lines on Plan 2 and Plan 3), supplying 2 pillars  shown by the black infilled in “u“ shape on Plan 3)  which will provide 4 electric vehicle charging points (located within 4 car parking spaces within the main car park area (shown on Plan 3 edged red) together with such rights of way and easements over the land to allow the provider to place the equipment and associated cabling into any of the Council’s adjacent retained land as are necessary to facilitate access to and use of the land.
