Open Space Disposal - Langley Road and Coalpit Lane
Details of proposal
It is proposed that Cheshire East Borough Council (“the Council”) dispose of open land and to grant rights over open land situated at Langley Road and Coalpit Lane, Macclesfield SK11 0DG which is public open space.
The extent of the land to be disposed of is shown edged red on the plan.
The Council is the freehold owner of the Land.
It is proposed 0.49 hectares of the property being land at Langley Lane and Coalpit Lane (also known as Turnip Brow) will be disposed of by way of disposal or long lease to Sutton Parish Council with the intention of developing the land as a community green space. It may also be necessary to clarify boundaries with adjacent land owners and transfer and /or sell land to rectify any discrepancy on boundaries.
