traCE - a new way to report local issues, coming soon!
1 May 2025
A new, innovative way for residents to report local issues such as potholes, fly-tipping, littering, and streetlighting, is coming soon.
The new map-based tool, developed in-house, will replace ‘Fix My Street’.
‘Track, report and alert Cheshire East’ (we’re calling it ‘traCE’) offers a more streamlined and user-friendly experience. It integrates with our own systems, helping us to get the right requests to the right teams at the right time. traCE will also provide automated email progress updates to those who either report, or subscribe to, local issues – which will help to reduce avoidable contact and deliver better value for money.
We’re just in the final stages of testing traCE to make sure there will be a smooth transition for all users, and will share an official go-live date and more information as soon as possible.
The development of traCE is included within our transformation plan: we’re driving efficiencies and improving customer experience and the ways that customers access our services through harnessing digital technology and artificial intelligence.
