Wilmslow Business Improvement District (BID) 

Wilmslow Town Centre Management Group proposed that a Business Improvement District (BID) would be introduced in Wilmslow town centre.

The proposal for a BID to set out a business led, five-year programme of investment in Wilmslow town centre, to start on 1 November 2022.

This would be governed and directed by a board of eligible businesses and organisations from across Wilmslow town centre.

A ballot closed on 25 August 2022.

The ballot was conducted entirely by post by the ballot holder's agent, UK Engage of Image House, 10 Acorn Business Park, Heaton Lane, Stockport SK4 1AS.

Ballot papers were sent to those eligible to vote.

Eligible voters were non-domestic ratepayers who are liable for the BID levy as at the date of the notice and they were entitled to have one vote in respect of each property occupied or (if unoccupied) owned by them in the geographical area of the proposed BID.
