Air Quality Management Area Maps 

Details on the Air Quality Management Areas (AQMAs) that have been declared.  All the areas are declared on the basis of being likely to breach the annual mean concentration of nitrogen dioxide, which is set as an Air Quality Standard of 40µg/m³ to be met by 31 December 2010. 

Congleton

• Air Quality Management Area - West Road, Congleton (PDF, 565KB) - between the Waggon and Horses gyratory and the fire station roundabout
• Air Quality Management Area - A34/A54 Congleton (PDF, 488KB) - a stretch of the A34 through Congleton incorporating Clayton Bypass, Rood Lane and Rood Hill back towards the town centre roundabout
• Air Quality Management Area - Lower Heath, Congleton (PDF, 541KB) - a short stretch on the A34 at Lower Heath

Disley

• Air Quality Management Area - A6 Market Street, Disley (PDF, 841KB) - an area along the A6 Market Street Disley, running from the Market Street / Buxton Old Road crossroads in the West, to the Junction with Redhouse Lane in the East

Knutsford

• Air Quality Management Area - A537 Chelford Road, Knutsford (PDF, 312KB) - a small number of properties along the A537 Chelford Road, Knutsford

Nantwich

• Air Quality Management Area- Hospital Street, Nantwich (PDF, 562KB) - a stretch of the A534 through Nantwich

Macclesfield

• Air Quality Management Area - A523 London Road, Macclesfield (PDF, 948KB) - an area from the Mill Lane / Silk Road junction in the North, to a point 65M south of the London Road Terrace junction in the South
• Air Quality Management Area - Broken Cross, Macclesfield (PDF, 409KB) - a stretch of Broken Cross through Macclesfield
