Ceremony rooms
In Cheshire East a civil marriage or civil partnership ceremony can take place in the Statutory Ceremony Rooms at the Register Office for the District of Cheshire East Crewe, and at the Registration Office in Macclesfield.
We also offer ceremonies at Crewe Municipal Buildings and Macclesfield Town Hall, or at any venue approved by Cheshire East Council.

For a simpler, more intimate, ceremony where you all arrive together, we offer the Mayor’s Parlour.
This elegant room, located on the first floor, will accommodate up to 12 people to include the couple and guests (adults, children and babies attending).
This elegant room is located on the first floor and will accommodate up to 50 people to include the couple and guests (adults, children and babies attending).
The choice is yours to arrive together or separately, you can include music in your ceremony and the room is equipped with a CD/Bluetooth/USB sound system for you to provide your own music.

The register office, Crewe is available on alternate Wednesday and Thursday mornings and will accommodate the couple and two witnesses.
The fee for a ceremony in this room is £57.00 (£46 statutory fee plus £11 for one certificate). Should the fee increase, you would be required to pay any outstanding balance.
The Macclesfield Room, Town Hall Extension, Macclesfield is available on alternate Friday mornings and will accommodate the couple and two witnesses.

All these rooms can be reserved up to 12 months in advance and are subject to availability.

Parking
There is no designated parking at these locations and all usual traffic enforcements remain in place.
