Somerford Neighbourhood Plan

Information

The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with Somerford Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was consulted on between the 26 January 2015 and 2 March 2015. The neighbourhood area was designated on the 20 July 2015.

Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 2 May 2017 and the 13 June 2017. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 25 July 2017 and the 22 September 2017. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 10 October 2017 and the 13 December 2017.

Incorporating the examiner's recommendations from their report, the decision to proceed to referendum was decided on the 18 December 2017, and local referendum on the Plan took place on the 15 February 2018, and returned a 'yes' vote in favour of the plan. The Plan was made on the 19 March 2018.
