Information

The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with Nether Alderley Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was designated on the 20 August 2018.

Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 20 March 2023 the 29 May 2023. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 8 September 2025 the 20 October 2025. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 30 October 2025 the 17 December 2025.

Incorporating the examiner's recommendations from their report, the decision to proceed to referendum was decided on the 24 April 2026, and local referendum on the Plan took place on the 2 July 2026, and returned a 'yes' vote in favour of the plan. The Plan was made on the 13 August 2026.
