Star Celebration Day 2023

Star celebration day is an annual event to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our cared for children and care leavers.

Space themed!

This year the event will be held on Sunday 19 November, and following a consultation with children and young people, the theme for this year’s event will be space-related.

So - get ready to impress with your out-of-this world attire, sporting some inter-galactic outfits this winter!

We need your help in recognising the talents of all cared for children and care leavers in Cheshire East, and this event is one way we can come together in celebration.

It’s really simple to nominate a child or young person:

1. Think of three things you want to celebrate about the child or young person. For example, are they good at art or football? Have they raised money for charity?  Have they cared for and supported another member of their family. Whatever their achievements, large or small, we want to know.
2. Complete the nomination form below before Friday 15 September
3. Your words of support will be used to personalise each child’s certificate which will be presented to them at the event on 19 November
