Star Celebration Day 2025

Star celebration day is an annual event to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our cared for children and care leavers.

Fairground fun

This year the event will be held on Sunday 30 November, and following a consultation with children and young people, the theme for this year’s event will be “Fairground Fun” –  a vibrant and joyful setting to honour the incredible talents and achievements of our cared for children and care leavers.

Get ready for a day filled with colour, excitement, and fairground vibes! Whether you come dressed in your funfair finest or channel your inner showman, we’ll be rolling out the red carpet to make sure every cared for child and care leaver feels like a star.

We need your help in recognising the talents of all cared for children and care leavers in Cheshire East, and this event is one way we can come together in celebration.

It’s really simple to nominate a child or young person:

1. Think of three things you want to celebrate about the child or young person. For example, are they good at art or football? Have they raised money for charity? Have they cared for and supported another member of their family. Whatever their achievements, large or small, we want to know.
2. Complete this nomination form before Friday 31 October
3. Your words of support will be used to personalise each child’s certificate which will be presented to them at the event on 30 November
