The Customer Service enquiry desk and the public computers close down 15 minutes before the library closing time.

Parking at Macclesfield Library
The only approach to the library by car is via the Hibel Road end of Jordangate. Macclesfield has a number of public car parks, but the most convenient is Jordangate Multi-Storey Car Park which is at the traffic lights on the corner of Hibel Road and Jordangate. A short stay car park (up to 30 minutes) can be found behind the Town Hall on Brunswick Street.
Disabled parking
Limited disabled parking can be found at the side of the library, next to the Post Office’s sorting Office, and also just past the library, near the Town Hall.

Barclays Local
Barclays Bank staff will be in the library every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30am to 12:30pm and 1pm to 4:30pm. We're here to help you with anything from money management and financial health, to improving your home or supporting your business. Lloyds community banker
The Lloyds Community Banker will be here every Tuesday between 9.00am and 3.00pm, but may be unavailable during the lunchtime period as they take a well deserved break.
Community Bankers are here to help if you don't have a local branch. They offer service, support and getting help with your account, whether this be online or by telephone banking. They can also 'co-service' across all Lloyds Banking Group brands, meaning that Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland customers are able to use any of our community bankers regardless of brand.
Santander community banker
Available on Fridays between 10am and 4:30pm. Providing assistance with your everyday banking needs, digital support for new account openings and reviews, telephone banking and self-serve options.
