Emergency planning for event organisers

The Joint Emergency Planning Team provides advice and guidance to event organisers to support effective planning for major incidents. This includes support with emergency planning, preparedness, training, and exercises. The team also sits on the Safety Advisory Group for Cheshire East Council, providing emergency planning advice as part of the wider event safety process. In the event of a major incident, the team acts as the local authority point of contact for the emergency services where council support is required. This may include Humanitarian provisions such as the provision of survivor reception centres, rest centres, emergency welfare, and support.
