Current team members said:
“As a waste and recycling loader for the last six years I would recommend giving this role a try. It was the working outdoors that had initially attracted me to the role as I had always worked in an office environment and looking for a more physical challenge. I have made a lot of good friends since working here and we go out regularly outside work too”.
“Plus the fact that I feel a lot fitter and healthier in myself doing this job I would say absolutely give it a try, even if its something that you have never done before. It was all new to me when I first started but it was the best thing that I had done and don’t regret it one bit”.
“I really enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team that makes a difference every single day. You can actually see the results of your work in the community.”
“No two days are the same, and there’s a real sense of teamwork – you feel part of something important.”
“It’s rewarding helping residents recycle properly and reduce waste – small changes really do add up.”
