As Cheshire East prepares for changes to waste and recycling services coming later this autumn – including weekly food waste collections – we’re looking for people to play a vital role in helping us deliver a cleaner, greener borough. From supporting residents to recycle right to keeping collections running smoothly, our teams are at the heart of turning small changes into a big impact.

As a Mechanic Fitter your role is to maintain and repair the fleet that keeps essential services running every day. You will carry out a wide range of vehicles and plant servicing, fault diagnosis and defect repairs using specialised fleet equipment, ensuring all work meets legal and safety requirements.

Your expertise will help minimise downtime, keeping vehicles safe, reliable and ready for the road across the borough.
