Mayor of Cheshire East - Councillor Lesley Smetham

Councillor Lesley Smetham was appointed as Mayor on 23 May 2018, she is Cheshire East’s tenth Mayor and represents the Gawsworth Ward. She has appointed her husband, Mr David Smetham as her Consort.

Mayor's Charities

The Mayor’s Charities for 2018/19 are Carers Trust 4 All (formally Crossroads) and Friends for Leisure as her charities.

Councillor Liz Durham who represents the Broken Cross and Upton Ward was elected Deputy Mayor.
