Project overview

There are a large number of volunteers who work behind the scenes in the museum. They support the work of the museum and the collection of local stories by undertaking conservation work and research.

What support is needed

Our volunteers currently have to bring in their own laptops or use their phones to do their research. It would be great to have 2 general laptops available within the museum that can be used by volunteers while they are working here.

What difference would it make to our project?

It will make a big difference to the research that we can undertake as a museum, how efficiently we can work and the opportunities that we can give to volunteers. They will be able to work on social media, design and interpretation for the galleries.

1. Macclesfield, Gawsworth, Langley, Wildboarclough, Rainow.
