Filming in Cheshire East

Cheshire East Council are supportive of location shooting undertaken by the Film and TV sector.

Over the last few years, we have helped many productions, including Sky’s ‘Brassic’, ‘COBRA’ and ‘The Rising’, Netflix’s ‘Stay Close’, ‘The English Game’ and ‘The Irregulars’ and the BBC’s ‘Peaky Blinders’, ‘Rules of the Game’ and ‘Ralph and Katie’ amongst many others.

Although we unfortunately do not have an in-house film office or provide a film office service, colleagues across various departments will do what they can to help wherever possible.

We allow road closures and require 12 week’s lead-in, with a degree of flexibility available on occasion, dependant on various factors.

We also own and manage a wealth of property across our borough.

If you’re working on behalf of a drama or feature production and have a query, contact production@creativeengland.co.uk
