Apply for or renew an organisation Blue Badge
Some organisations may be eligible for a Blue Badge if they both care for and transport disabled people who themselves meet the eligibility criteria for a badge.
An organisational badge must only be displayed when someone who would be eligible for a Blue Badge in their own right is being transported.
Common examples of organisations that may be eligible include residential care homes, hospices or local authority social services departments. It is unlikely that taxi or private hire operators and community transport operators would be eligible for an organisational Blue Badge as they are not usually concerned with the care of disabled people.
If you provide an organisation email address when applying, you will be able to upload evidence, pay online and receive updates via email.
Any updates we send via secure email will be sent to you using Egress. This is to ensure personal information is kept secure.
You will need:
- a company logo
- letter confirming vehicle is exempt from vehicle tax
You can upload your evidence as part of the online application.
Eligible organisations will be asked to pay £10 for each badge. It can take up to 10 working days to process your application once we have received your evidence and payment.
