Cheshire East has a wide range of activities that residents are able to access in their local community or area. Many are provided through voluntary, community or faith organisations, who can also provide mutual help and support, and taking part in community activities can help people to become part of their local networks.

By connecting people and communities in this way we strengthen our community assets, reduce social isolation and enable local people to experience greater wellbeing.

We want to help you to stay independent for as long as possible. Live Well Cheshire East provides a wealth of information and advice to help you maintain your wellbeing and improve the choice and control over the care and support you need.

Cheshire East Council, together with its partners from Voluntary, Community, Faith and social enterprise organisations, provide services that can support you to retain your independence and live at home for as long as is safely possible. Falls Awareness week 

Falls Awareness Week 15th - 21st September 2025

One in three people aged over 65 fall each year and around half of people aged over 80. Cheshire East Council and partners has organised a falls awareness week to promote steps you can take to reduce your risk.
