Where services are available

Axess Sexual Health Cheshire East clinical service is delivered from two main sites:

  • Macclesfield District Hospital
  • Eagle Bridge Health and Wellbeing Centre Crewe

What the service offers

The service offers:

  • contraception and reproductive health advice
  •  STI and HIV testing and treatment
  • digital health and postal testing
  • health promotion

You can also get contraception from your GP or local Axess Sexua clinic. There are many  options available, and you'll recieve advice to help you to choose the method that suits you best  to your needs.

Emergency contraception

If you are in need of emergency contraception, this can be obtained via your GP, some local pharmacies, and your nearest axess clinic.

You can find a list of services and pharmacies in your area which offer emergency contraception. Please ring the pharmacy you have chosen to attend before you turn up to make sure a member of staff is available who can prescribe emergency contraception and to check it is available for free.

Free condoms by post

Residents of Cheshire East aged 16 and over can order free condoms by post from Axess. Condoms are the only contraceptive method that protect against both sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and unintended pregnancies.

Condoms are a good method of contraception if you remember to keep them with you when you think you are going to have sex.

Visit Axess for more information and all of our updated clinic times.
