Help in a financial
crisis

What's in this section?

A crisis is any situation in which you feel you need urgent help. The Cheshire East Emergency AssistanCE scheme is available to vulnerable people who are in receipt of state benefits. The scheme provides support for the most vulnerable facing immediate short‐term needs in an emergency or as a consequence of a disaster, to prevent a serious risk to the health and safety of themselves or their family.

The links on this page provide other information about how you can access help and support to help you to manage your day to day living expenses, in order to prevent a crisis situation from developing or to assist in recovery from a difficult circumstance.
