Information Bulletin: Poynton Pool bat survey

The council’s appointed ecologists will be on site at Poynton Pool on Tuesday 1 September to undertake a bat survey. This survey will involve the visual inspections of all the trees, that have the potential to be impacted by the revised scheme proposals, along the length of the embankment. 

The inspections will be undertaken from ground level, using binoculars and high-powered torches and will specifically look to identify the presence of cavities or holes which could be used by bats for roosts.

There will be two qualified ecologists present to carry out the survey work.
