Death of HRH The Duchess of Kent

Cheshire East Council is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent.

Councillors and officers across the borough extend their heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family at this time of national mourning.

As a mark of respect, the Union flag is flying at half-mast in Memorial Square, Crewe and at Macclesfield Town Hall. The public will be able to contribute to an online book of condolence on the Royal Family’s website in due course.
