Cheshire Police Operation, Crewe - Cheshire East Council support

Cheshire East Council is supporting people affected following a major Cheshire Police operation at Webb House in Crewe. Our priority is to ensure that those people who have been displaced are safe and supported.  As this relates to a live police investigation it would not be appropriate to comment further.

Update 3 May 2026

Cheshire Police have now concluded their searches at Webb House in Crewe, and the site has now been released to the residents. Cheshire East Council continues to work with partners to ensure that a comprehensive plan, which supports all residents to have appropriate and safe housing, is in place.
