Volunteering in Cheshire East
Volunteers play an important role in the work that we do and without their hard work and dedication many of our community based activities would cease to function.
This section is designed to provide you with information about the volunteering experience, about the volunteering opportunities available within the Council and to answer any questions that you might have.
We hope that it will inspire you to join us.

Public Rights of Way
- Many users of the network of footpaths, bridleways and byways in Cheshire East play an invaluable role in helping to keep paths open and safe for everyone to enjoy. They do this by carrying out a range of activities, including inspecting paths, checking notices, waymarking paths and clearing paths of encroaching vegetation. If you’d be interested in helping out in one or more of these ways email firstname.lastname@example.org
Cheshire East Council will ensure that no volunteer will be disadvantaged on the basis of their gender or transgender, marital status or civil partnership, racial group, religion or belief, sexual orientation, age, disability, pregnancy or maternity, social or economic status or caring responsibility. This means that arrangements may need to be adjusted to cater for the specific needs of an individual including the provision of information in alternative formats where necessary.
