Council Tax Support Consultation

We are asking for your views on proposed changes to our Council Tax Support scheme for working-age households from 1 April 2027.

The scheme helps residents on low incomes pay their Council Tax. We want to make sure the support available remains fair, sustainable and focused on those who need it most.

We welcome feedback from residents, community groups and other stakeholders on the proposed changes.
