  Looking for holiday reading, but can't get into the library? Perhaps you're hoping to get an eReader for Christmas and need some books to get you started? Why not download or start making a wish list with OverDrive eBooks.

Library members can choose from over 1000 free eBooks to download 24/7 and read on a compatible device. These include desktop PCs and laptops, and an app for other devices. Titles never become overdue and there are not late charges.

*Please note that members who join online will need to visit a library to upgrade their membership before using this service.

Join the Library

Joining the library opens up a vast world of knowledge, entertainment, culture and information. Once you become a member you may borrow up to 20 items! It's free to join - just pop into your local library (all you need is one form of ID with your name and address) or join online. You don't need to live in Cheshire to join, but you must have a UK address. You'll also have access to a range of online services and resources in both Cheshire East and Cheshire West and Chester libraries.
